Immunizations

The Adams County Health Department offers childhood immunizations, to eligible children, for a small fee. Walk-ins are strongly discouraged as vaccines are not always available.  Children with insurance should get shots at their doctor's office as we are unable to do those in the Health Department.

If your child is on Medicaid/Hoosier Healthwise, call your medical provider for services.

Parents can call for an appointment to assure availability of the nurses and vaccines. Appointments can be scheduled almost any day.

Call (260) 724-5327 to make an appointment.

Note: To bring a child for immunizations, you must be their parent or legal guardian. (Proof may be requested of Guardianship) If you are not (if you are a step-parent, grandparent, babysitter, or other relative), you MUST bring a note signed by the parent or guardian stating that it is okay for you to bring the child for their immunizations. A parent must always bring the child for the first visit.
