Vaccine Requirements for School

The state of Indiana requires the following immunizations for children entering the 6th through 12th grades:

  • MCV (to prevent Meningitis)
  • Tdap (to prevent Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis)

Documentation of Chickenpox disease or two (2) Chickenpox shots.

The Adams County Health Department/Clinic has vaccine available for uninsured children to receive school required shots.
